  1. Although it can be extended to six years based on specific conditions, this visa normally lasts three years. It’s crucial to remember that this visa is granted through a lottery.
  2. Any qualified person may apply, but the details of an application do not ensure that a visa will be granted.
  3. O-1A visas are intended for those with proven prior accomplishments who possess remarkable skills in science, education, business, or athletics.

With this temporary visa, they can participate in athletic activities, carry out or present research, attend events, have meetings, or work on a project.

Although the precise duration will be suggested and decided upon at the time of application, it is a short-term visa.

The O-1B visa is intended for musicians, performers, and artists who have demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments and who want to work temporarily in the United States, such as to participate in a concert or host an exhibition.

Additionally, there are other choices for permanent work visas:

The EB-1 visa is available to people who have made significant academic or professional accomplishments and who have been given a high-level position in a US company that is willing to sponsor them.

The EB-2 visa is intended for people seeking employment who possess advanced degrees, such as master’s or doctoral degrees.

Working professionals with an undergraduate degree, skilled workers, and unskilled laborers seeking employment are all eligible for the EB-3 visa.

Students can find employment in practically every field in the United States. Students who want to work in the US after graduation should examine whatever visa they require and which state, city, or town would best fit their professional goals.
